Our world is being dramatically changed by the advent of distributed systems on the scale of the Internet.  Recently, such distributed systems concepts as cloud computing, MapReduce/Hadoop, online Web services, peer-to-peer networks, distributed networked games, content delivery networks, volunteer computing like SETI@Home and Folding@Home, etc. have emerged as tremendously successful paradigms.  At CU, we’re investigating the following projects:
